Rascal Gets Crafty and Makes Bracelets

Rascal had to be rescued from the toy box so that my toddler wouldn’t misplace him or play with him.  I placed him on the fireplace mantel so that he could still keep an eye on the kids.  By that evening, he was ready to head to the North Pole to go visit Santa Claus, the other elves, and reindeer.  He left shortly after the kids were tucked into bed and I didn’t hear him sneak back into the house this morning.  In fact, I wasn’t sure if he made it home in time to cause any mischief.  But I was wrong.

I went to wake up the kids so that we could get ready for Church. When I went into my daughter’s room, I found Rascal playing with her beads.  He had beads every where and was making bracelets.  She has some beads that had letters on them.  Rascal even spelled his name using the letters.  I woke up the boys and my baby immediately wanted to go find Rascal.

My little boy is learning how to say Rascal’s name now and it is so cute.  As soon as he found him in his sister’s room, he smiled and pointed to Rascal.  He loves going to get his daddy and showing him where he was hiding.  It is so adorable and I have a feeling that he will be sad when Rascal goes back to the North Pole until next year.

Rascal what are you doing?
