My youngest son has always loved music and when I had the opportunity to review a cute children’s cd, I jumped at the opportunity. When I received it in the mail, I opened up the CD Slugs and Bugs Under Where and showed it to my youngest son. He immediately wanted me to play it. I quickly realized that I didn’t have a CD player in the house. The only one that I own is on my husband’s computer and outside in the garage. Both of those choices aren’t an option so I put the CD into the our Blue Ray player and crossed my fingers that it would play it. As soon as the music started playing, my youngest son sat in my lap. I sat with him and rocked him for a few minutes while we were listening to the first song called “God Makes Messy Things Beautiful.”

I got up off the floor (which is a feat in itself) and went off to make lunch for my youngest son. We continued to listen to the CD. My youngest son twirled around and danced to the music.
As a mom, I love finding music that is safe for my child’s ears. I don’t want them growing up listening to most of the garbage that is out there. I am a firm believer that what you put into your children, is what you get out of them. Put trash (yucky music, filthy photos, bad words, anger, fighting, ect) into them then that is what you are going to get out of them. However, if you saturate them with the good stuff then you will get good things out of them.
Slugs and Bugs is a great Christian CD and it is safe for your child’s ears. It is a fun CD, some of my favorite songs are: Lighting Bug, I Wanna Help, and There is a Hole in my Sock. The songs are great for getting your little ones dancing while listening to the CD and it is a CD that they will want to continue to listen too so that they can learn the words. You won’t be disappointed.
