Rascal left to go back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. I have to say that I enjoyed him as much as my toddler did and can’t wait until next year, I have a year to think of some more creative ideas. Before Rascal left for the North Pole, he left the kids a goodbye letter next to their stockings on the fireplace. Shortly after Rascal left, Santa Claus came and left the kids their presents.
On Christmas morning, the kids were anxious to see what Santa Claus had left for them. We always make the kids wait until everyone is up and ready before they can come into the living room to see what Santa brought them. We do this so that we can see their reaction to the presents.
I put the baby down so that he could walk into the living room himself. He was surprised to see all of the goodies on the fireplace and immediately walked over to the toys that Santa left him. Daddy helped him open his stocking. Santa brought him two toy car sets that hook together, an outfit, socks, and cars.
My older son got the ]Wii Skylanders gift set, a book, hair gel, shower gel, and a race car that he has to put together. He seemed to enjoy the gifts that Santa brought him, along with the other gifts that he received.
My daughter got a vibrating alarm clock (one that shakes the bed), wall art, and some make up. She seemed excited that she finally got an alarm clock that can wake her up, she has relied on me to wake her up and wanted an alarm clock that would be capable of waking her up. It wasn’t the exact one that she was wanting but Santa said that it was all that he could find.
I feel extremely blessed and had a wonderful Christmas with my family. The weather man was predicting that we would possibly get a light snow shower on Christmas day; however, we ended up getting a few inches of snow. It was a welcome surprise considering we usually don’t get much snow in our area.
