Does your child’s room need a deep cleaning? Does their room look similar to the one in the photo? If your child’s room looks similar to the photo then it is time to help them get their room organized and give their room a makeover. From time to time it is important for you and your child to purge and get rid of any items that they no longer use or play with. Get your child to help you clean and reorganize their room. In fact, my older kids clean up with room often but they tend to hang on to things that can go into the trash or that they can get rid of. I remember when they were younger every few months I would have to go through their toy boxes. I couldn’t believe how many happy meal toys or small gadgets that would wind up in the bottom of the toy box or the amount of broken toys that were hiding in the closet.
Disclosure: These tips are my own opinions and are based on my own experiences.
I hope that these tips are helpful and help you to overcome the daunting task of cleaning out your child’s bedroom. If you have more than one child, I would tackle each room on a separate day so that you don’t get burned out or tired of spring cleaning. You can also, uses these tips to clean out a toy room if you have one as well.

Long overdue for this. As always, excellent advice, here. I’ve got to get the summer clothes ready, and I am DREADING this. But it will be exciting for the kids to say goodbye to winter. (Although in the midwest, summer and spring bring tornado warnings) 🙁
Thank you for sharing Rhonda.
Thanks for the tips! These will come in handy one of these days. (My son still sleeps with me, haha.)
Your welcome, thank you for sharing.
It seems like my kids’ rooms always need a purge & deep clean!
It is the same way in our house too Jenny. You aren’t alone.
I have to purge my eldest daughters bedroom when she is out because if she is there, suddenly all the toys that I want to throw out, are once again her favourites!! 🙂
I did that some when my older kids were younger. Works great.
I like that small things like making the bed can make a huge difference.
I agree. 🙂
