Doctor on Demand is There for Busy Parents: Free Visit and Giveaway Too! #Back2Care

Doctor on Demand Back to School Giveaway and Free Doctor Visit

Back to school is a busy time for everyone. There is shopping to do, errands to run, visits with the doctor to get the physical done so that your child can play sports, and so much more to get done so that your kids are ready for their first day of school. Often times, when we are overwhelmed with our routines taking care of the family we often neglect our own needs. Parents often feel pulled in so many different directions and often times we will go weeks with that nagging sinus infection, sore throat, ect before we even consider going to the doctor. Are you guilty of neglecting your own health because you don’t have time to go to the doctor or sit in a crowded waiting room at the urgent care?

Disclosure: Uplifting Families received compensation for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

So the next time that you are feeling under the weather, why not try Doctor on Demand. Doctor on Demand is an interactive app that you can download on your smart phone. It is available on Itunes and Android. You simply download the app and create a profile. Once you create your profile, you can contact a licensed doctor or pediatrician for as low as $40 dollars a visit.

The great thing about Doctor on Demand you can be seen anywhere that you have an internet connect and a device. Plus, you don’t have to sit in a waiting room with other people who are sick too. They treat common ailments from:

  • pink eye
  • allergies
  • yeast infections
  • and they are there to answer any questions that you might have concerning your health

Since you are connecting to a doctor via your smartphone, tablet, or computer, there are a few ailments and problems that Doctor on Demand is unable to treat. My Husband’s Visit with Doctor on Demand

My husband thought that he was coming down with a sinus infection and has had congestion in his ear for several weeks. He wanted to give Doctor on Demand a try. He downloaded the app and filled out his profile. Then he was immediately connected to a doctor within a few minutes. She was able to diagnose the problem with him over his phone. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of my husband’s questions.

Dr Visits in the Convenience of Your Home: Yes Please!

We love that we are able to see a doctor in the convenience of our home. There is no wasted time driving to the office and waiting to be seen. The app allows you to connect with a doctor quickly and easily. The service was excellent and it was through. The quality of care is comparable to what you would receive in a traditional doctor’s office. I am thankful that they created this app so that busy parents can take care of urgent care visits without having to take time off from work or even use it in the evenings.

Doctor on Demand Isn’t Just for Parents

Doctor on Demand Can Treat children too

I also love that Doctor on Demand is able to treat my youngest son too. They have a team of board certified pediatricians that can treat your child over the phone, tablet, or computer. So next time your child is sick, download and use Doctor on Demand instead of hauling your sick child off to the doctor’s office and expose them to even more germs.

Crazy the things they have now. Who needs health insurance if you can just get diagnosed over the phone. I’d feel more comfortable seeing a doctor face to face.

They do a great job treating you over the your phone, tablet or computer. We have used them several times for sinus infections. It is just the same as seeing a doctor at an urgent care facility. Don’t forget to try the free code too!

I love the convenience that Doctor on Demand provides. How I wish we have stuff like this in the Philippines, too.
