When I found out that I was pregnant with my third child, I immediately went to baby center to calculate my estimated due date. Once I found out the estimated due date, I signed up for an account so that I could keep up with my baby’s weekly development. At the time I had an iPhone, so I downloaded the baby center application called “My Pregnancy Today”.

I found this application very helpful. It provided me with information about my pregnancy, they shared information about pregnancy for the week, a tip, or other trustworthy advice. I also browsed the forum quite frequently. It was a great way to connect with other mom’s who were pregnant and due in the same month as your anticipated due date. I always enjoyed the posts that other mom’s would post and I was very active in the community when I was pregnant with my son. Some days I would shake my head because of the drama that was on the board, but that is typical when you have several thousand hormonal pregnant women on a birth board talking about controversial topics. I typically stayed out of the drama and loved reading posts about what other’s were craving or other fun topics. My favorite part of the forum that I enjoyed the most, was the birth stories that came in as babies were being born. I was due at the end of the month so made me want my baby here sooner.

It’s amazing how different apps are starting to come out. There’s one for every need. I wish I was pregnant so I could use that app 🙂
