This morning when I woke up I found Rascal perched on the fireplace mantel. My daughter decorated the mantel with some of my favorite Christmas decorations that were passed to me from my mother’s collection. Rascal was pretty mischievous and decided to transpose my Noel train. He thought it would be funny to spell “Leon” instead.
Check out my other Elf on the Shelf ideas.
What is your favorite Christmas song?

I LOVE that sound as well, I also LOVE the Elf on the shelf, the things they do!
Love it! I remember a kids book from long ago called “Leon, not Noel.” It was one of my favorites!
Funny. Leon = lion. So, he is brave for doing such thing.
The elf on the shelf thing cracks me up, though I’ve never gotten into it myself, I did go to a friends house today and she had thrown all of the stockings on the floor and pinned her kids underwear up and “hid” elf behind her Santa. The kids found the elf, tied him to a tiny Christmas tree on the kitchen table and set up a bunch of army men holding the elf hostage…hilarious!
We love the Elf on the Shelf! Especially love everyone stories of what they’re doing with theirs!
Thank you for this idea! 🙂 This is my first year with Elf Magic and I need ideas for hiding and placing our "Hannah"!
