7 Reasons Why You Should be Drinking More Water

7 Reasons Why You Should be Drinking More WaterDid you know that people in impoverished areas often die from drinking unclean water? Β In the United States, we often take clean water for granted while others are dying because they are forced to drink unclean water. There are many great organizations that help make getting people in impoverished areas clean water and it is something that you and your family can get involved in helping others.

I feel bad for complaining that our water tastes horrible even though our family has access to clean drinking water. Over the last several years, I bought bottled water to drink because I don’t like the taste of the water. I am also contributing to filling the landfill with countless empty water bottles. I would recycle them if I had the opportunity. Even if you are doing your part and recycling, there are a ton of bottles still going to the landfill. Do you drink bottled water? If so, you should make the switch to a glass bottle or find an insulated cup that you can wash and reuse on a daily basis.

Disclosure: I received a Clearly Filtered Water Pitch in order to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% own and I would never recommend products that I don’t enjoy.

In the past, I have tried different water filters and our water never tasted great even after using some of the popular brands of water filters including Britta and Pur. I got the opportunity to try the Clearly Filtered Water Pitcher, I was amazed that our water actually tasted good. Where I live, we are on well water and we have hard water. Most of the time, it tastes horrible even though there is nothing physically wrong with the water. I turned to bottled water because it tasted so much better. When we received the water pitcher, my kids love opening all of my packages, and they immediately wanted to test it out. I think they were tired of drinking tap water. They typically drink tap water from the refrigerator which is filtered but doesn’t remove the horrible taste but they were used to it.

What Makes Clearly Filtered Water Pitcher Different from the Competitors?

The upfront cost of a clearly water pitcher might sway you to buy a cheaper water pitcher but I promise the additional upfront cost is well worth your investment. Here are the advantages:

  • Each filter will filter up to 300 gallons of water or roughly 300 full pitcher fill ups.
  • The filter eliminates 99.99% of the chlorine.
  • It eliminates 90% of the fluoride.
  • Removes lead, mercury, and chromium that is found in most public water supplies.
  • Each gallon of water costs roughly $.35 cents.
  • Pitcher is BPA free.

I agree with the third reason. I’ve been doing that for quite some time now, and it works wonders. πŸ™‚

Have you ever been totally dehydrated? I have and it is really not pleasant! It has caused all kinds of side effects. I drink liquids (ice tea, water, etc) all day long now. Some days over 164 ounces-it depends on how hot it is out there!

Dehydration is the worst, especially, if it happens when your pregnant.

I am trying to drink a lot more water, I tend to drink sugary things instead and should change that to water.

I remember the water rule: take your weight in pounds, cto ounces like: 150 pounds is 150 ounces, divide in half, then that is the amount of ounces you should be drinking in water: so, 75 ounces of water for me! http://makeupuniversity.blogspot.com/2014/09/old-spaghetti-factory-gaslamp-district.html
