5 Easy Ways to Keep Your Car Interior Like New

Have Paper Towels, Baby Wipes, or Automobile Cleaning Wipes on Hand and Clean Up Messes Right Away

It’s important to have paper towels and cleaning wipes in your car at all times. This is especially true if you decide to eat in the car. Not having something to wipe your hands on can leave you hanging, and you might end up having to wipe them on your car’s interior fabric. You don’t want fingerprints all over everything! Cleaning up spills and stains right away is also a good habit to get into. Having paper towels and cleaning wipes in the car at all times will help in this. It’s also smart to have a stain stick in the car for serious stains. The key is not to let spills sit. They will become a lot worse this way.

Knock Your Shoes Before you Get In and Have a Maintenance Routine

A lot of dirt and debris can get into your car on you and your passengers’ shoes. Every time you get into the car, tap your shoes against the outside of the car to knock off any extra dirt or debris that could potentially be stuck to the bottom of your shoes. You’ll definitely notice the difference this can make when you vacuum the inside of the car. Finally, it’s important to have a maintenance routine for such things as vacuuming. Make your cleaning routine consistent with something else in your life. For example, you can clean your whole car every first of the month or every time your car insurance bill is due. During this cleaning session, make sure to clean out clutter, vacuum and wash the interior.

Doing all of this will give you a clean car that’s just like new!

These are good tips. It’s good to be more conscious about it. When I got my new car, I vowed to treat it better. I gotta say though … outdoor activities like skiing make it tough. Plus parking in San Francisco it’s tough to keep the bumpers from getting scratched too
