Front Page Fatality

Front Page Fatality by LynDee Walker

Front Page FatalityIf you like a good book that leaves you hanging on by the seat of your pants, I recommend that you read “Front Page Fatality” starring Nichelle Clarke.  Nichelle Clarke works for the local newspaper in Richmond, Virginia as a crime reporter.  Nichelle loves wearing high heal shoes and sometimes finds herself in places that heels aren’t appropriate.  However, during the course of the story her high heel shoes become her saving grace when she finds herself in a less than ideal situation while working on her big story.  This is a great mystery book and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Summary from the back of the book.

“Crime reporter Nichelle Clarke’s days can flip from macabre to comical with a beep of her police scanner. Then an ordinary accident story turns extraordinary when evidence goes missing, a prosecutor vanishes, and a sexy Mafia boss shows up with the headline tip of a lifetime. As Nichelle gets closer to the truth, her story gets more dangerous. Armed with a notebook, a hunch, and her favorite stilettos, Nichelle races to splash these shady dealings across the front page before this deadline becomes her last.”

A reporter in heels, eh? Were they stilettos? I love the prospect of danger, suspense and fun all wrapped up in one book. Sounds like a terrific read! Look forward to it.
