When I found out that I was pregnant with my third child, words couldn’t describe how excited I was after the initial shock wore off. It took us a while to become pregnant and though the timing might have been off slightly everything worked out. I was blessed with a beautiful, healthy little boy. I didn’t take any professional maternity photos with my previous two pregnancies and I wanted to make sure that I got to get pictures of my baby bump this time. Maternity photos are a great way for you to document your baby belly and keep as a memory to show your baby when he or she is much older.

Finding the Perfect Location to Take Maternity Photos
When I decided to get my photo’s done, we had picked a place to take photos at but we weren’t able to get as many shots as we had hoped for. Our photographer had us consider moving to another location, so that we could take some more photos. When you schedule your photo shot, be open to the possibility of changing locations so that you are able to capture more shots or even have multiple locations picked out if your photographer allows it. If you can’t decide on the perfect location, ask your photographer for his or her suggestion. Most photographer’s know of places that make for a perfect backdrop, especially, if you want to take photos outdoors.
