While browsing Pinterest a few months ago, I found a cookie recipe that seemed like a dream come true. I am a fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate chip cookies, so when I stumbled across a recipe for mint chocolate cookies I wanted to try them. These cookies were the perfect color for the Holiday season so I was planning on making these for Christmas. I decided to make a trail run before I took these cookies to a family event.
Ingredients Needed to Make Mint Chocolate Cookies
2-3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt (if desired)
1 cup unsalted butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp mint extract
20 drops of green food coloring
1 bag of Andes baking chips or Andes Mints(chopped up)

They look yummy!
I think that I will try making these cookies again with my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe instead. If I do, I will post the new recipe. 🙂
These sound good and please post the revised recipe if you make them again.
